TV Tome R. I. P.

It is true that TV Tome didn't exactly die. John Nestoriak, the founder and head developer of TV Tome and Movie Tome, sold it to C NET. C NET revamped the site, and TV Tome became TV.com. However much of what made TV Tome what it was got lost in the process. This site is dedicated to preserving the history and memories of the original TV Tome.

This site is currently under construction. I will be posting what I have over the next several weeks. I am also looking for input from former TV Tome members for information on several topics:

• The Miltia. Who were they and what did they do? - I have some information, and some of it is under "Spam Wars". There is some more to come when I'm ready to start adding info again.

• Web sites run by former TV Tomers, TV web sites in general, and TV web sites that were started because TV Tome was sold in an attempt to provide an alternative to TV.com. I have links to a number of these sites, but I'll take more.

• Information on the people behind the scenes like John Nestoriak, the global moderators, and meta editors. I only have the basics from {Shadow}. I would love to get more.

• More details about the creation and evolution of TV Tome. I wonder if John would tell me more information if I asked. Or is there somebody else would know?

• Other topics that former Tomers are interested in.

Right now I'm working on some of the details of how I want to organize the pages and gathering information. Don't expect to see many changes for at least the next couple weeks. In the meantime, what changes you do see will be primarily in formatting. 2/17/06
